The contractors with the highest rated scores from the CSA 2013 Contractor Report Card were honored during at the CSA Gold Circle Ceremony scheduled for April 8, 2014.

The top rated contractors for 2014 are:

As a service to the state’s subcontractors CSA created a Contractor Report Card to analyze the business practices of general contractors. Twenty-nine contractors were rated in the report card. The surveys were completed anonymously.

Contractors were rated on ten criteria including:

• Management of the delivery of materials to the project;
• General oversight and control of the project;
• Compliance with statutory, code and inspection requirements;
• Coordination and management of work schedules;
• Management of the requisition and billing process;
• Timely payments to subcontractors;
• Knowledge and experience in performing the work;
• Change order management;
• Overall performance; and
• Close-out and final payment/retainag
